One of the most colorful times of the year has finally arrived in the Sunshine City! This weekend we are celebrating all things Pride in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg. Below are a few events you don’t want to miss to celebrate Pride!
Saturday, June 25
St. Pete Pride Parade
Did you know that the St. Pete Pride parade is one of the largest in the country? The festivities kick off with a Parade Festival at 2pm in North Straub Park, where you can enjoy food trucks, a DJ and even a beer garden.
Then the Parade will begin at 4pm. The Parade route will run from Vinoy Park to Albert Whittard Park along Bayshore Drive. We highly recommend carpooling, taking public transportation or ridesharing because parking near the festivities will be limited.
Hot tip: PSTA will have a fare free weekend June 25-26 and will be running park n rides to the Parade on June 25th.
Secret Garden at Birch & Vine
Step out of the sun and into the Secret Garden, exclusive to Pride 2022! Enjoy tapas, specialty cocktails, giveaways, and music by DJ Bass God on Birch & Vine’s sidewalk. The fun begins at 5pm – can’t wait to see you there!
Neon Lounge After-Party At Birchwood Canopy
Head over to St. Pete’s favorite rooftop lounge for a bird’s eye view of Downtown St. Pete. Birchwood Canopy will turn into a Neon Lounge after the Pride Parade and include giveaways from Malibu Rum and Absolut Vodka, a drag queen meet and greet, DJ beats, a dancing LED robot, photo opps and much more!
Sunday, June 26
Pride Street Carnival
Join tens of thousands of people from all over at the Grand Central District from 11am – 5pm for the Pride Street Carnival! The Carnival will feature various vendors, food, entertainment, carnival games and community partners. Don’t forget your sunscreen!
