Mothers Day At The Birchwood
First up, Mother’s Day! Treat the special mother figure in your life to a delicious brunch or dinner at Birch & Vine. Our chefs have also prepared a brunch buffet at The Grand Ballroom, featuring classic favorites, unique dishes and a complimentary welcome drink. You can also head upstairs to Birchwood Canopy where private cabanas are available for reservations.

Celebrate The Birchwood’s 10-Year Anniversary
The festivities don’t stop there. The Birchwood turns 10 on May 16, and we’re celebrating all month long! Join us at Birchwood Canopy, our stunning rooftop bar, for a limited-edition anniversary cocktail. Sip on this delicious concoction while taking in the wonderful view of downtown St. Pete. If you join us on May 16, you’ll also have the chance to win a custom engraved bottle of Woodford Reserve – a perfect keepsake to remember our 10th anniversary.
Our award-winning restaurant, Birch & Vine, will also be serving a special anniversary dessert throughout the month of May. Indulge in our Blueberry Tart, featuring Butterfly Flower & Blueberry Bavarian Cream, Sweet Thyme Tart Shell, and Candied Lemon Peel. It’s the perfect way to cap off a celebratory meal.
Kentucky Derby at Birchwood Canopy
In addition to our anniversary festivities, we have some other exciting events happening this month. On May 6, join us at Birchwood Canopy for a Kentucky Derby party. Dress up in your best Derby attire and sip on mint juleps while watching the 149th renewal of “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports”.
Ryan Wells Foundation 18th Evening with the Chefs
On May 12, The Birchwood’s Executive Chef Lee Aquino will be participating in the Ryan Wells Foundation’s 18th Evening with the Chefs event. This fundraiser supports the nonprofit’s mission of providing scholarships to local students pursuing careers in the culinary arts. Chef Aquino will be showcasing his talents alongside other chefs in the area, so be sure to get your tickets to this delicious event here.
