A brand new year is here at the Birchwood and there are so many ways to celebrate in St. Petersburg. January is filled with gorgeous weather, exciting events and plenty of sunshine. Check out some of the area’s exciting events in January below:
5th Annual St. Pete Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival – January 15
Tampa Bay foodies, this one’s for you. The ​​5th Annual St. Pete Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival is around the corner. Enjoy 50+ bacon and BBQ dishes from more than 20 vendors, local craft beer and cocktails, live music featuring local bands, games, prizes and more at Vinoy Park.
Festivals of Speed – January 23
Porsche of Clearwater proudly presents the 17th Annual Festivals of Speed on January 23 at Vinoy Park. The event will showcase more than 250 luxurious cars and motorcycles, featuring brands like Porche, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Aston-Martin, and more. This unique display includes both vintage and contemporary vehicles of all makes and models. While you browse, enjoy great music, a cigar lounge and festive cocktails. Tickets are $20 per person and an active military discount is available.
St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival – January 28 – 30
The 4th Annual St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival kicks off January 28

in Williams and continue throughout the weekend. Co-hosted by the City of St. Petersburg, general admission is free. Enjoy a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients by local restaurants.

Yoga in Sunken Gardens – Mondays and Wednesdays
Take some time to relax and unwind while you experience a yoga class in the lush and healing Sunken Gardens. This gentle class is offered every Monday and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 p.m. until May 2022. Make sure you bring your yoga mat. Classes are $20 which also includes all-day admission to the Sunken Gardens. Children over the age of 10 are permitted to attend as long as a parent also attends.
