Things To Do In St. Petersburg: June 2021 Edition

The Start Of The Summer Season!
June kicks off the summer season, and there’s so much to do in St. Pete. Whether you’re a local looking for a staycation or visiting Florida’s Gulf Coast, you can’t miss The Birchwood. Located in the heart of downtown St. Pete, The Birchwood is only steps from the arts district and the new St. Pete Pier. Here’s a preview of a few events happening this month that we’re most excited about:
Weekends at St. Pete Pier
St. Pete Pier is a destination any day of the week, but the #2 new attraction in the U.S. truly comes alive on the weekend. Take your pick of various morning workouts from Pilates on the Pier to a Get Fit Bootcamp. Stroll alongside the Marketplace and check out the unique keepsakes local artisans sell. Enjoy dinner and a cocktail at the Teak Restaurant or Pier Teaki and bask in the gorgeous Florida sunset. We love to marvel at the kaleidoscopic colors of the “Bending Arc” kinetic sculpture right after the sunset. Check out our blog for more details about summer happenings at St. Pete Pier.
St. Pete Walking Mural Tour – Every Saturday
Learn the backstory of St. Pete Arts District street murals in this insider tour offered every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. This 90-minute four-block tour begins at Florida CraftArt and showcases over 30 murals. There is a firm limit of 10 guests per tour and must be booked by 4:00 p.m. the day prior. Learn more here.
